During the ministerial meeting, the Turkmen side called on to follow the principle of integrity and indivisibility of global security

At the meeting of the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the European Union and Central Asian countries, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov announced national priorities on the most important issues of the regional and global agendas of multilateral cooperation.

In particular, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again reaffirmed the position previously stated by the President of Turkmenistan on considering security as a single, integral category, which is characterized by its indivisibility.

At the same time, the Turkmen side stressed that one of the main ways to strengthen stability and security in the world is the use of a wide arsenal of political and diplomatic means and methods which are at the disposal of the international community today.

In this context, the importance of the initiatives of Turkmenistan on the practical application of the principles of positive neutrality was noted as an effective tool for resolving various international issues, including the settlement of conflicts.
