The Consulate of Turkmenistan in Germany hosted the regional director of Messe Frankfurt

On May 21, 2024 at the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Frankfurt am Main was held a meeting between Consul Murad Ozbekbayev and Regional Director of Messe Frankfurt for Asia, Central Asia and South America Jurgen Wertz.

In the context of the long-term partnership of Messe Frankfurt with Turkmenistan, previously implemented joint activities, signed bilateral documents were discussed and promising areas of interaction were considered.

In particular, the representative of the Frankfurt Fair expressed interest in increasing contact with the Turkmen side in various segments of exhibition activities. In this regard, it was noted that the company opened the official representative office of Messe Frankfurt in Ashgabat in 2019 for these purposes.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the schedule of major specialized exhibitions upcoming this year both in Frankfurt and abroad, organized by Messe Frankfurt, with a focus on attracting interested state agencies and representatives of the private sector of Turkmenistan. There was also an exchange of views on possible joint events with the Messe Frankfurt.
