Meeting of the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Commission TRACECA was held in Tehran

Recently, a meeting of the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Commission TRACECA took place in Tehran, with the participation of a Turkmen delegation consisting of representatives from the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The meeting addressed current issues related to the Organization's activities. Reports on the activities of all participants of the Organization and the Permanent Secretariat for 2023-2024 were presented and summarized. Additionally, issues and action plans for 2025-2026 were discussed, aimed at developing the Europe-Caucasus-Asia international corridor.

During the meeting, a decision was made to grant observer status to the Republic of Latvia within the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission.
