UNICEF summer climate school opened in Ashgabat

The youth summer climate school of the UNICEF Representative Office in Turkmenistan opened in Ashgabat. The initiative is designed to unite the efforts of the younger generation in the fight against climate change, disaster risk reduction to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. 

The school will become a platform for learning and networking in the fight against climate change to ensure a significant role for young people in national and international climate policy. The school will run until August. The first session of the youth eco-camp will last until the  5th of June, the second session will be held on the 18th to 19th of June, the third session on the 2nd to 3rd of July, the fourth session on the 16th to 17th of July, the fifth session on the 30th to 31st of July and the final session on the 13th to 14th of August.
