Crews of Türkmenhowaýollary Agency improve emergency rescue training

The school of flight personnel training of Türkmenhowaýollary Agency started emergency and rescue training of aircraft crews. Simulators modelling different emergency situations onboard and imitating the landing of the aircrafts on land or water have been deployed for development of coordinated actions of pilots and flight attendants. Mobile platform as well as realistic visualization and sound helped creating the effect of flight and emergency landing.

Training on emergency simulators is one of the most difficult in the programme of crew training and are held every year. Flight personnel guided by instructors improved theoretical knowledge, first aid and application of medicine, use of fire extinguishers and emergency radio beacons. The trainees familiarize with the information about the survival in extreme situations during the classes.

Training on the simulators of emergency abandoning where the skills of opening of doors and emergency hatches and imitation of the passengers evacuation and emergency landing of the aircraft on land or water is the next stage.

Pilots and flight attendants improve the skills of using of life vests and rafts. Upon the completion of the programme of the training, the crew receives the certificate of standard format.

Conducting of all phases of pilot training in civil aviation of the country including on simulators became possible after the opening of International Airport of the capital. Today, the complex has multipurpose training centre – Flight personnel training school. It prepares technical personnel for service of the engines and the airplane as well as specialists for radio electronic equipment and navigation systems, land radio locators, radio navigation equipment and other services. Training of aircraft and helicopter pilots is also carried out.

Modern simulator centre of Türkmenhowaýollary Agency is opened in specialized training centre. It has high technology imitators of aviation equipment as well as four training planes and two helicopters have been bought for training flights.

More than hundred aviators have training in the centre per year. It supports skilful and emergency free operation of modern aviation equipment and the improvement of service of the passengers.
