MFA of Turkmenistan together with the Embassy of the USA organized the photo exhibition

On May 5, 2021 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan together with the Embassy of the United States of America in Turkmenistan organized at the Fine Arts Museum of Turkmenistan the photo exhibition dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of interaction within the framework of the Ambassadors’ Fund for Cultural Preservation.

The event was attended by the representatives of the diplomatic missions working in Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the Institute of Culture and other agencies.

During his speech, the Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan A.Shamuradov, talking about bilateral relations between the two states, noted that special attention is being paid to the cooperation in the sphere of culture.   

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the US to Turkmenistan Matthew S.Klimow in his presentation highlighted uniqueness of Turkmen culture. The Ambassador also told about numerous projects, which are being implemented within the above-mentioned Fund. He noted that the Fund has supported more than 900 cultural preservation projects in more than 200 countries. He also added that the program is globally competitive, and Turkmenistan has received more awards than any other country in the world
