Day of Economy of Turkmenistan in Germany

On February 5, 2016 the Day of Turkmen economy was held in the city of Frankfurt am Main. The Forum was held in the central office of Commerzbank Group.

The forum was attended by the representatives of leading ministries and departments of Turkmenistan. On the German side, the meeting was attended by members of the government, heads of state organizations for business development, as well as leading experts of more than 90 companies specializing in various areas of the economy.

The agenda of the Forum included the issues of further expansion of bilateral partnership built on an equitable and long-term basis. German businessmen had an opportunity to get acquainted with the economic and export potential of Turkmenistan, with conducted foreign trade and investment policies, aims and tasks to introduce innovative technologies in production.

Speakers noted that the meeting will contribute to further deepening Turkmen-German economic relations and will promote the establishment of new business contacts between the state and business structures of the two countries.

Within the framework of the forum, the representatives of the ministries, agencies and the private sector of Turkmenistan held bilateral negotiations with the heads of the state structures of Germany and German companies.

The delegation of Turkmenistan also visited the German enterprises, including manufacturing sites of «Viessmann Group» company.
