Trade and financial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany was discussed in Frankfurt

On June 4, 2025, a meeting was held between the Consul of Turkmenistan in the Federal Republic of Germany (Frankfurt am Main), 

Mr. M. Ozbekbayev, and Ms. Elena Sidorskaja, Director of the Department for Export Financing in the CIS Countries and Eastern Europe at AKA Bank.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to establishing cooperation between the bank and Turkmenistan. In particular, they considered prospects for fostering closer ties between AKA Bank and Turkmen banks, opportunities for export financing of German-made products to Turkmenistan, as well as support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the country through the provision of credit lines for financing joint projects with German companies.

Additionally, both sides expressed the importance of organizing joint business meetings and forums, as well as arranging mutual visits of relevant financial institutions from the two countries.
